Delhi: The Delhi education department denied action against illegal operation of ICSE and ISC board operated by CISCE at Frank Anthony Public School Delhi. The board is only a society and not established by act of parliament or executive order. At Bombay High Court it filed false affidavit that it is recognized by every state but in other High Courts CISCE said that it is merely a society and no act or executive order passed in favor of council . It is merely a society . RTI reply from HRD, Delhi , Maharashtra , MP denied CISCE recognition . Delhi govt is also helpless and allowing students to get certificate which have no legal value . CISCE has many letters issued by govt officers which declare ICSE and ISC are recognize board but such officers have no power or letter may be fake . Only act or executive order is true document of recognition. Proper research to be done before taking admission in CISCE school .

Para 3 “Learned counsel for the Board, at the
very outset, raised an objection that the Board is not a 'public authority', in
view of Section 2(h) of the Act, and consequently, it is not required to
provide the information sought by the petitioners, under the Act.
Substantiating the objection, Sri Nagar submits that the Board is a society
registered under the provisions of the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and is
not receiving any financial grant or aid from the Central or the State
Government. He further submits that Board is not a creation of any Act of
Legislature, and therefore, necessary ingredients to hold the Board as a
'public authority', under Section 2(h) of the Act, are lacking, and
consequently, the prayer made in the writ petition is not liable to be
granted.”
