Mumbai: During hearing before Judge Gauri Godse at Bombay High Court on 14 Oct 2026 at Sr 27 Manu Bhai H Patel called Justice Gauri Godse a corrupt judge. He also said that he got deemed sanction for prosecution under corruption act.
The petitioner said judge to recuse the matter as he don't have faith in her court. Even after corruption allegation in open court judge asked him to argue on merit. When petitioner did not argued on merit then she dismissed for non prosecution. In past justice Gauri Godse Judge Ms Gauri Godse dismissed Civil Writ Petition No. 6969/2023 without hearing Petitioner. She did not respected judicial standard of principle of natural justice and passed order with suppression of facts as per petitioner MH patel.
The other courts passing recusal order in normal allegation but inspite of corruption allegation in open court judge did not recused on its own. In earlier hearing also petitioner called Judge Gauri Godse as corrupt judge in front of all litigants, but she did not initiated contempt process as petitioner also approached anti Corruption bureau. As per law corruption allegations are personal in nature so no contempt action can be taken for personal allegations. Judges are also not holly cows and now a days blackmoney is recovering from their premises. Many advocates says that a Delhi High court judge is having Rs500 cr in his premises in a podcast.
The judiciary should increase trust in public to keep moral of honest judges.
