New delhi: Civil contempt petition is filed before Supreme court against Session judge Shri Manoj Kumar Lowanshi for SC Lalita Kumari preliminary enquiry time limit violation. Complainant has filed CRPC 156 complaint for registration of FIR in Trident ware house fire at Budhni, Sehore MP State dated 5 April 2021. The JMFC Shri Thakur Prasad Malviya rejected the prayer and permitted the police to continue preliminary enquiry in order dated 27 Oct 2021. Without police final report JMFC given clean hit to accused. Later in criminal revision the ADJ Budhni Shri Manoj k Lowanshi upheld the JMFC order on 22 Jan 2022. As per SC order preliminary enquiry can be done only in 15 days and in few cases in six weeks. The ADJ and JMFC allowed preliminary enquiry beyond six weeks.
