Delhi:Supreme court dropped contempt proceedings against Mumbai MM Court Judge AP Khanorkar (Borivali Court) without assigning any reason. Earlier petitioner MH Patel filed contempt petition against MM Court Judge AP Khanorkar for extending staying beyond 6 months violating supreme court order Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency (P) Ltd. v. CBI. The Registrar disposed the contempt petition using special power to dispose frevilous petition. This power is in general used against contempt cases against judicial officers ie order XV Rule 5 supreme court rules to protect them from contempt case. Later Petitioner approached Supreme court by challanging registrar order by filing motion ie Misc application. Court issued notice to respondent judge . Suddenly the contempt proceedings was dropped by court without any reason. Petitioner also dont know the reason for sudden drop. Does Judicial officers are getting immunity from contempt case? Soon petitioner is filing another application against this order before the court of Justice KM Joseph and PAMIDIGHANTAM SRI NARASIMHA bench.

WHY NOT STRIKE OUT ARTICLE 141 FROM THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA SO THAT THERE CAN BE JUDICIAL ANARCHY.
